About the roleIn this role, the Senior Accountant will be working within the Payment Institute of the Scalapay Group, a regulated entity under Bank of Italy control, and he/she will be in charge to monitor the company's accounting, treasury and reporting matters, including taxation (with the help of an external tax expert).

He/She will directly report to the Head of Finance of the Scalapay Group.

You will:

Work closely with Head of Finance and support him in closing statutory financial statements and contributing to Group Consolidated Financial StatementsManage the company's accounting and administrative activitiesOversees treasury activities, including payments and bank reconciliationsPerform monthly closing in cooperation with the FP&A dept.

Produce the periodic reporting to Bank of ItalySupport the improvements of accounting processes and proceduresTake part in ad hoc projects and have the opportunity to put forward and drive projects on your ownDevelop as a professional in an entrepreneurial organisation and work with highlyskilled colleaguesYou'll be great for this role if you:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeMinimum 5 years of experience in finance dept. or auditing firmsGood working knowledge of OIC (ITA GAAP), IAS/IFRS and preparation of financial statements (preferably from banks)

Strong accounting and tax skills (VAT, withholding tax, etc)Flexible, proactive, curious and self-motivated with excellent organisational skillsFluent English speakerHave good computer software skills, Excel and other accounting packages (NetSuite knowledge will be a plus)Big Four Audit background will be a plusWhy you should join Scalapay:
