As part of the Legal & Compliance Nokia Business Operations team for Europe, you will be the primary advisor and support to all Customer Experience and Regional Business Center teams for legal and contract/deal matters mainly in Italy and Malta, working in close interlock with BG legal team, reporting to the Head of the L&C NBO Mediterranean region and Telefonica account.


What you will learn and contribute to


We are looking for an experienced Qualified lawyer in Italy to join our Legal & Compliance team, based in Milan or Rome (preferred locations) to provide legal support and strategic legal advice to Nokia's commercial operations within the Market Unit Mediterranean (mainly Italy and Malta, supporting eventually Greece and Albania).


In this job, you will:


  • Support Customer Operations including drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements endtoend in coordination with the relevant sales team and in cooperation with other legal functions and teams as needed;
  • Provide strategic legal advice to Nokia's commercial operations; become the legal expert and the pivotal point of contact for legal support to the relevant Market Unit;
  • Support the sales teams across Nokia's internal approval process for sales transactions;
  • Provide legal advice endtoend in connection of the customer activities including Data privacy, Security, and others in liaison with the relevant local stakeholders of Nokia;
  • Support local procurement in achieving backtoback contracts with local suppliers and subcontractors, as needed;
  • Support compliance matters and be the ambassador of Nokia's Ethics and Compliance program;
  • Be a contributor to the priorities and projects of Nokia's Legal Department;
  • Work alongside with Market Unit Mediterranean, Europe Legal and Compliance team, BG Legal, other Legal Functions.

Your skills and experience

You have:


  • Qualified lawyer in
    Italy;
  • Outstanding academics;
  • Previous experience: 1013 years PQE working in a strategic legal counsel role at a global company ideally in the telecommunications / IT industry having worked in complex contracts or as a practicing lawyer (preferably at a top tier international law firm);
  • Languages: English and Italian (fluent);
  • Demonstrable excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills with strong commercial sense on risk & reward; detailed oriented combined with strategic advise mindset.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Other European language;
  • A combination of both company and law firm experience.
