You will be part of the Global Procurement Function, in General Service Category.

The Global General Service Category team is responsible for the development and implementation of the sourcing strategy, monitoring and leading sourcing and coordinating purchasing activities at a global level, including the management of global suppliers.

As part of this team, your role will be to support the implementation of the strategy for General Services spend, aligned with the needs of the stakeholders and the business.


The GS categories include all corporate services like:
Car Rentals, Travels, Facility, Consultancies & Professional Services (not including Telco & IT).

Your success will be primarily measured on Savings/Cost Management, Stakeholder management, Strategic Project Management/Execution, Payment Terms & Working Capital, Respect and implementation of Company policy, Value Creation and Innovation.

You will have the chance to focus on the following activities:


  • Analyze market trends and research and select new suppliers;
  • Manage tenders in different service categories through the standardbuying process, which requires sending offer requests, analysis and offers alignment with the internal stakeholder function, negotiation, and definition of the supply contract and activation of buying orders process.
  • Conclude the onboarding process and qualification of suppliers through company platform (Synertrade), keeping monitored the supplier status update.
  • Contribute to the decisionmaking process by logically presenting ideas to decision makers, being a strong logic thinker, using information to accurately make timely decisions.
  • Manage and coordinate a team of two buyers. Areas of Responsibilities
  • Contribute to procurement strategy development
  • Work with stakeholders to identify spend areas and organize buying processes with the goal of identifying cost savings
  • Implement actions to align supply and demand requirements to optimize TCO
  • Issue RFx and analyze best solutions, negotiate price and commercial terms and conditions
  • Quickly acquire knowledge in categories where there is limited internal knowledge
  • Support the internal reporting of results
  • Contract negotiation and implementation, accompanying rollout of new suppliers
  • Supplier Management and continuous evaluation/assessment of supplier performance, ensuring consistency of service, quality and compliance
  • Lead projects and work cross functionally, with regional/global procurement teams
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management in all regions, and all accountable functions (e.g.

Legal, Tax, Administration ) Requirements - Knowledge of:
General Procurement principals and procedures, Procurement and Sourcing processes, Marketing, advertising and digital marketing, Organizations, Accounting & Finance - Skills In:
Negotiation, Effective communication written and oral - Experience in project management, tender organization and cost saving projects - Strong internal and external stakeholder management - Analytics (tender management, cost analysis, scenario modelling) - Proficient with SAP and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), plus if working with e-procurement platform (Ariba, Synertrade etc years experience in procurement, a plus will be if in General Service procurement - Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Engineering - Fluent in Italian and English - Experience in an international organization - Ability to work effectively under pressure, flexible with ability to work to tight deadlines - Strong autonomy - Willingness to travel internationally, if requested
