KC-767A Italy Tanker Program supports the Italian Air Force (ltAF) KC-767A fleet located at
Pratica di Mare, Air Base, Rome Italy.

This Program is a part of the Government Services of the Boeing Global Services Division.


Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking a
Configuration Management & Maintenance Reliability Specialist in
Pratica di Mare, Air Base, Rome Italy.



Position Responsibilities:


  • Support the planning of the Short
- and Long-Term Maintenance Plan for the Italy Tanker Fleet

  • Collaborate to the elaboration of the Configuration Management documentation for the Italy Tanker Fleet
  • Participate to the routine coordination meeting with the engineering to review Service Bulletin, AD and PTA applicable to the Fleet
  • In collaboration with the Configuration management group, review the Maintenance Plan Document to update the Fleet Maintenance Plan
  • Elaborate Vectors to communicate technical inquiry to Italy Tanker Fleet Support Engineering or Logistic Engineering
  • Utilize disciplined technical expertise & company knowledge to assist the customer to achieve & sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of the KC767A by investigating product reliability, determine root cause analysis by developing, coordinating and recommending appropriate corrective actions
  • Assist the customer in interpreting and using the appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), interpreting servicing and maintenance support procedures
  • Act as the onsite technical liaison between Boeing Maintenance Engineering and the onsite Boeing PDM Configuration Management.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • Relevant maintenance experience on aircrafts Models
  • Experience in reading and interpreting engineering and maintenance technical information (REDARS is a plus).
  • Understanding of Maintenance Plan Document, Aircraft Service Bulletins, FAA Airworthiness Directives' and Service letters.
  • Work effectively and cooperatively with the team, managers, and members of others work groups; establish and maintain good working relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours as the job requires.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • Willing to get qualified for tank entry.
  • Familiar with aircraft AMM, IPC and MTC. Boeing 76
  • Familiarity with Boeing webbased Information Systems such as: My Boeing Fleet, and a technical inquiry request systems (BCS, Vector).
  • Experience with the KC767 Tanker.
  • Belonging to "Categorie Protette" L.68/99 art.1.

Typical Education and Experience
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.

Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.

PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
