The HSE, Maintenance & General services specialist is responsible to carry out the day-to-day operations of HSE, Maintenance & general services related to the Muggiò headquarter and occasionally for the external service centers spread in Italy and Greece.

This role is reporting directly to the Quality manager and works in tight connection with the quality department, operations, purchasing and the Global/Regional HSE organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

Implement the principles and practices of safety, health including industrial hygiene and environmental protection programs. Full compliance with the requirements of and ISO 45001 and 14001 certifications and the Italian D.Lgs 81/2008. Implement the maintenance programs of all equipment's, systems, tools and small revamping of facility.
Provide employee training using multiple delivery methods and media. To communicate effectively through verbal and written, to individuals and groups who possess variable range of skills.
Ensure the regular deployment of HSE related programs and maintain an adequate database, through the dedicated software "Risolvo".
Sustain and improve the QHSE Management System.
Conduct root cause analyses and interact effectively with individuals in a wide range of situations, circumstances, and settings; work effectively with a diverse workforce to achieve the HSE&M targets. Sustain the Near Miss reporting and resolution practice.
Interpret and effectively communicate technical documents such as HSE procedures and dispositions, risk assessments, etc. to workers, to visitors and other personnel.
Support the service centers managers in annual audit both internal and external
Actively participate to qualification of suppliers not only in terms of HSE/quality documentation but also on the matter of the service required.
Support purchasing department to align different supplier in terms of goods and/or service supplied in order to allow the purchasing department to negotiate at best price.
Scout alternative sources for the supply of maintenance or noproduction supplier (electrician, firefighting, building maintenance, HVAC maintenance, etc.)
Coordinate the suppliers in all extraordinary maintenance like relayout of service centres or modification of the building.

The Individual

Previous experience in similar role/sector that would provide the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform this job
Operating knowledge of HSE applicable legislation.
Knowledge of HSE Management Standards (ISO 45001/14001) and Auditing Management Systems (ISO
Computerliterate (MS Office and SAP)
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with a diverse workforce
Ability to work systematically, following a detailed plan of activities, respecting mandatory deadlines
Team working capability and good communications skills
Fluent in Italian and English
