    Introduction

    In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.

    Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.


    As an Application Developer, you will lead IBM into the future by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in anagile environment.

    The success of IBM is in your hands as you transform vital business needs into code and drive innovation. Your work will power IBM and its clients globally, collaborating and integrating code into enterprise systems.

    Your Role and Responsibilities We are looking for talented, experienced people to design, develop and support application solutions.

    This role requires ability to design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, to integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects scattered on multiple platforms.

    Your work will power IBM and its clients globally, bringing innovation into enterprise systems.

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

    As an Application Developer - Adobe Experience Manager, we are looking for candidates with the following background and skills:At least 3 years of experience on AEM projectsUnderstanding of OSGI and Sling framework, JCR API and AEM patterns integrationRobust Knowledge of Apache Maven and JunitUnderstanding and knowledge of (Apache) Dispatcher module configurationTroubleshooting on AEM tiers (Dispatcher, Publisher, Author)Knowledge of AEM frontend developmentRobust knowledge of Java SE and Java EE development languagesUnderstanding and design of Microservices ArchitecturesUnderstand of Containerization and DockerBack-end design and development with full-stack Java technologyUnderstanding of Synchronous and Asynchronous integration patternsDevelopment tools as Eclipse, Maven, Git, DevOps pipelinesKnowledge of some recent back-end frameworks as Spring, Springboot, JPA (Hibernate)Knowledge of some recent front-end frameworks as Angular (2+), React, Vue.

    jsCompetencies about public and hybrid Cloud Platform (Azure, AWS, Kubernates, Red Hat OpenShift)Strong competencies about relational and/or no-SQL databasesIntermediate knowledge of English languageGood interpersonal and communication skills Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

    In particular, are very appreciated:
    Certifications in Adobe (Adobe Experience Manager Developer or Architect)Certifications in Java programmingCertifications in microservices programmingCertifications in public Cloud platforms or microservices orchestration platformsExperience working in an Agile software development environment
    Availability to travel is an additional mandatory prerequisite.
