To support the strong growth of DPAM - Italian branch, we are looking for an


INSTITUTIONAL SALES ITALY
Your Position


Based in Milan in a very nice work environment, you will oversee the development of the Institutional Clients business with a particular focus on Italian pension funds.

Moreover, you will have the opportunity to be part of a cohesive international sales team, which constantly exchange business ideas and tools, and help each other on several cross-border business opportunities.


In this position you will be:
Business Development and Management

  • Scouting the market to develop business opportunities with Italian pension funds, turning prospects into clients, servicing the client base, and building relationships with clients and prospects
  • Leading the tenders' participation process by supporting the RFP team, the portfolio management teams and other teams to successfully answer to them until the outcome
  • Supporting the teams in charge for eventual new accounts setup and clients onboarding by helping them to resolve any operational issues that might arise
  • Supporting the Value-Added Services team with the reporting (regulatory, ESG, tailormade, etc.) setup
  • Keeping the business pipeline alive and kicking
  • Being a trusted DPAM ambassador in the marketplace
Sales and Client Relationship Management

  • Keeping good relationships at all levels with clients, prospects, local consultants, service providers and trade bodies
  • Promptly and professionally answering together with the Sales Support to clients' and prospects' inquiries
  • Correctly using and maintaining our CRM database for both business and legal / compliance purposes
  • Helping with completeness, proper uploading, and use of periodic DPAM product and service documents update on different consultants' and clients' platforms and tools, when needed
  • Supporting other sales team members to successfully close their sales opportunities
Your Profile

Experience, competences, and attitude required

  • At least 3 to 5 years working sales and servicing experience with Institutional clients, especially Italian pension funds
  • Master's degree with excellent academic trackrecord
  • Perfect knowledge of English language; other languages an advantage
  • Financial certifications, like CFA, an advantage
  • Genuine interest in the asset management industry at all levels (portfolio management, commercial developments, and legal & regulatory developments)
  • Respecting our E.T.H.I.C. corporate values
  • Gaining outstanding knowledge of DPAM's organization and culture
  • Gaining outstanding knowledge of DPAM's expertise and products / strategies
  • Maintaining outstanding knowledge of local business channels and their operational aspects
  • Mastering internal working tools as may be required
