Field Sales Trainer

As a Field Sales Trainer, you will be responsible for improving overall performance and productivity of the field sales teams by delivering consistent training sessions for the Field sales teams in Italy.

The training will be based on role responsibilities and provide insights into competitive landscape, objection handling and value propositions of our products.


What you'll do

  • Deliver comprehensive trainings for our Field sales teams around 3 key aspects: Competitive landscape, Sales tactics, ICP and personas, and Product Portfolio
  • Listen and score calls along with the Team Leads/Managers to improve ongoing efficiency of sales resources
  • Conduct merchant audits and identify areas to improve market intelligence
  • Run the inmarket SumUp Field Sales Consultant training program for new and existing consultants
  • Upskill top band Field Sales Consultants to SumUp's multiproduct portfolio and help them sell all SumUp products
  • Put in place an ongoing coaching model to support existing representatives and consultants

You'll be great for this role if

  • You have 3+ years of Field Sales or Inside Sales experience and 2+ years experience in the Sales Enablement space, working as sales trainer or coach
  • You have SaaS sales experience
  • You have strong analytical and data skills to analyze sales data and enablement metrics and make datadriven decisions
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with sales and crossfunctional teams
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and ability to be flexible in a rapidly changing environment
  • You are fluent in English and Italian
