Jimmy Choo is currently recruiting an Production Planner Specialist based in Florence Office:
Job Purpose

The Production Planner owns and drives the planning of the production and delivery activities, guaranteeing constant verification of the entire process progress and compliance with deadlines, coordinating with the technical office, engineering department and external suppliers.

He/She will works with external suppliers to ensure the best value, highest quality and timely delivery in support of production department.

This position is a direct report to the Costing, Purchasing and Production Senior Manager, LG.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Develop a demand curve by planning the order consistently with supply chain request.
  • Develop the production launch:


generate the production orders to be sent to the manufacturers as output of the analysis process of the demand curve, the availability of materials, the capacityof the suppliers, the technical breakouts.


  • Analyses samples (product categories, raw materials, accessories, production issues, etc.) to identify any critical issues and coordinates with the Purchasing and Costing departments and the Line Manager proposing preventive orders for raw materials
  • Analyses production launches and highlights the issues
  • Update production plans based on market or Customer Service requests
  • Send delivery forecasts in coordination with Logistics to monitor production performance
  • Check of the feasibility of the SOP and master planning forecasts received from London HQ
  • Participate at all allocation meeting by preparing the data sheet with quantities and capacity
  • Process and update reports useful to the Line Manager and to London Headquarter for the constant production status verification.
Profilo


Competencies and Experience Required:
Demonstrable technical expertise in similar role
Luxury brand experience in the supply-chain environment is mandatory
Strong accuracy and timekeeping
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Demonstrable skills of Microsoft Office, with particular reference to Excel
Full Knowledge and understanding of the production processes

Successfully able to handle multiple demands and competing priorities in a fast pace environment

3/5 years in similar roles
Fluent in Italian and English
Information Technology (Excel)
Experience in Production Department
