Valmet is seeking a passionate and experienced Product Specialist to join our team for a 1-year full time temporary contract.


Location:
Sesto San Giovanni, Milano


Key Responsibilities:
As a Product Specialist at Valmet, you will be an instrumental force in shaping the success of our mechanical products


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with internal teams such as Sales, ERP/Costing and Pricing, Project Management, Engineering, and Accounting to ensure the development and launch of our products.
  • Acknowledge customers' spare parts orders and ensure seamless communication and information transfer within the company, facilitating a smooth order fulfillment process.
  • Efficiently process orders within the ERP system throughout all phases of the SSP project, including the meticulous preparation of bills of materials, diligent project followup, timely notifications to customers regarding goods readiness for shipment, and collaborative coordination with the accounting department for accurate invoicing.
  • Methodically archive orders acknowledgments, drawings, and pertinent documents, contributing to a wellorganized and accessible information repository.
  • Provide invaluable support to the Engineering team by conducting thorough archive searches for crucial drawings, BOM (Bills of Materials), and other essential documentation, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency and effective collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • A mechanical background with a minimum of 23 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • An adept understanding of technical drawings, allowing you to decipher complexity and provide valuable insights.
  • Preferably familiar with ERP systems.
  • A solid command of basic IT tools, including MS Office, to support efficient communication and documentation.
  • A deep commitment to upholding ethical principles, contributing to a positive work culture.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • English language proficiency at the B1/B2 level.
