- Collaborate with underwriters and partners for seamless processing of new business, renewals, and endorsements.
- Engage in pre-binding activities such as liaising with brokers/clients, preparing quotes, and updating systems.
- Contribute to post-binding and servicing activities including policy booking, issuance, risk engineering, and reinsurance documentation.
- Support Collection department in handling finance queries and unpaid premium recoveries.
- Ensure compliance and assist in the completion of raters, audit preparations, and complaint resolutions.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience with insurance training.
- Proficiency in handling multiple systems and Microsoft Office.
- Client service orientation, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, strong administration capabilities, and good time management.
- Language proficiency (local and English), additional languages beneficial.

How You Will Make an Impact
As an underwriter assistant, you will contribute to the growth and profitability of AIG AESA unit in Italy by providing essential administrative support to specific Lines of Business. Your responsibilities will include assisting the underwriting community, both internally and externally, with administrative tasks, responding to customer inquiries, addressing complaints, and ensuring data accuracy in systems. Your role will involve meeting service levels and performance targets in terms of volume, accuracy, and quality, reporting directly to the Country Operations Manager.
