    Main activities

  • Defines the needs of the project by collaborating as a team with the Product Marketing Manager and the Engineering Functions.
  • Identifies the actions necessary for the development of the Project Plan, carrying out risk assessment activities, and identifying/executing all other activities necessary in order to pursue the project objectives.
  • It relates to all Engineering functions to define the specific activities to be performed by the Engineering and Product Validation teams.
  • Defines Vehicle Validation in collaboration with the Product Validation department. Performing DFMEA/SFMEA/Physical Simulations and Tests.
  • Coordinates supplier selection activities by collaborating with the Engineering, Purchasing and Supplier Quality functions.
  • Monitors the progress of the project by making ongoing presentations, maintains control of the KPIs.
  • It supports the prototyping and pre-series phases with the creation of the necessary documentation.
  • Participate in problem solving meetings
  • Manages change requests identified during Product Validation, Kaizen or After Sales meetings
  • Manages the timing, taking into account the Time To Market.
  • Supports the release of project parts on the ERP management system.

    • Requirements

    Fundamentals/Must haves

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Vehicle/Mechanical/Hydraulic Engineering or Diploma supported by specific professional experience in the field of vehicle development.
  • Previous experience in developing the entire vehicle or, alternatively, the hydraulic system of automotive and/or industrial and/or agricultural and/or earthmoving machinery.
  • Knowledge of plastic, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing and metal component development parts, including tubing and wiring fasteners.
  • Knowledge of the Product Development Gate Process for new product development.
  • Knowledge of testing procedures and acceptance criteria.
  • Simulations: CFD / FEA / Knowledge of vehicle dynamics.
  • Using 3D CAD.
  • Knowledge of planning and problem solving methods.
  • Excellent communication and relational qualities, organizational skills, leadership, flexibility, open-mindedness and autonomy.
  • Fluent English language.

  • SolidEdge, TeamCenter, AS400, SAP
  • Knowledge of safety procedures: ISO 26262, ISO 13849, ISO 25119.
  • French language appreciated.
