Position

Commissioning Supervisor, Generators (m/f)

Your main task is to ensure a professional and qualitative commissioning of the generator from the individual component to the complete system (GEN and its auxiliaries).

Your tasks

· Commissioning of the generator from the individual component to the complete system (GEN and its auxiliaries)

· Carrying out functional tests, generator block tests, acceleration tests, electrical parallel tests, first synchronisation and load rise to nominal load, mechanical and functional tests (e.g. leakage tests, short circuit tests, etc.)

· Reporting to Line Management

Requirements

· Technical diploma or engineering degree

· Experience as a generator supervisor during the commissioning phase on a turbogenerator.

· Experience in commissioning from single component to complete system (e.g. oil seal pumps, valves, H2/Co2 skids, etc.).

· Knowledge and experience in precommissioning and commissioning phases

· Good knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems (mainly MV and HV)

· Good skills for mechanically and/or electrically setting up a GENERATOR and its auxiliary systems in the COLD precommissioning and commissioning phase (blowing, flushing, insulation tests, etc.), also with H2 turbogenerator

· Familiarity with P&ID and technical documentation, procedures, etc.

· Thorough knowledge and familiarity with safety procedures (work permits, safety precautions, etc.)

· Good knowledge of the English language

· Availability for frequent travel in Italy and abroad

· Ability to work in a team and problem solving

· Being flexible and able to work under pressure
