THE POSITION:

In this position you will support the activities regarding the logistics of the Italian site in Milan, like forecast planning, custom clearance by joining our Demand & Distribution Team, part of the Supply Chain team collaborating with key departments.

For this position we offer an initial fixed term contract of 6 months with possibility of extension.

Tasks&Responsibilities:

Planning of finished products orders based on sales forecasts consensus process to satisfy the local demand
Monitor good receipts at local warehouse and manage logistics complaints for the inbound process
Support the weekly and monthly reporting (ex. stock coverage, out of stock tracking, back orders, supply impacts, others)
Support the planning of the local transportation of goods from/to Third Parties, providing needed documentation (ex. Transport order)
Support the customs clearance process management for goods coming from extraEU Countries
Support the Material Master Data Management for finished products
Collaborate with key departments (Mkt & Sales / Finance&Controlling / Global Supply Chain Department/ Local Regulatory Affairs)

Requirements:

Degree in Management Engineering/Economics
Have a clear understanding of basic financial and inventory measures (ex. sales, volumes, stock coverage, costs, etc)
Basic knowledge of supply chain concepts and SAP ERP
Good knowledge of MS Office
Good written and oral communication skills in English
Good analytical skills, working with large data sets
Good communication, organizational and Team working skills
Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
