145/2022), on behalf of a client, is looking for an Export Sales Manager (M/F/x) with advanced experience in the industrial field, tool machinery sales and machinery for investment.

Our client is a historic family business founded in 1955.

Today, thanks to almost 70 years in business, the company is a world leader in the production of test mold presses, mold openers and machinery for metal sheet processing.

On a daily basis the business collaborates with international big players of different sectors and industries, providing them with innovative, technological and high-quality solutions.


Their detail-based attention to every client's needs and their dedication to every single project, have largely contributed to the company's great achievements, making it a point of reference of great importance in the industry, on an international level.

In order to achieve the next goals and to consolidate its presence on the international market, the company is currently looking for a new figure to take over the role as Export Sales Manager (M/F/d), who will join the team as of now and who will be dedicated to the international sales activities of the company's wide portfolio, with particular focus on the following products:

  • test mold presses
- coil lines for sheet metals.


The Export Sales Manager will be interacting with end customers who are manufacturers of sheet metal and plastic molds, as well as companies involved in sheet metal stamping and will function as their point of reference.

Compiti

As Export Sales Manager, in constant support of the company management and in line with the common guidelines, the profile will carry out the following activities and tasks (as a given example):

  • Managing and organising participation in trade fairs and industry events in Italy and abroad
- defining the company's policies for product sales
- managing and organizing the company's sales activities: managing the customer portfolio from a key account system perspective
- developing of new markets and related sales networks to establish future business opportunities
- coordinating the sales office and the international markets (managing interactions of agents present in the various countries)
- organizing and managing the participation in national and international trade fairs as well as industry events representing the company

Requisiti

You are the right person if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Technical education, such as bachelor's degree (three years) in mechanical engineering, management engineering or in the mechatronics sector
  • Previous experience (or equivalent training) in industrial sectors characterised by the sale of investment and automation machinery, both in Italy and abroad.
  • Professional knowledge of English (a must have); preferably knowledge of German and an additional language, such as Spanish, French or Portuguese
  • Strong experience in managing commercial negotiations
  • Previous experience in managing sales networks and sales personnel
  • Availability to travel, on national and international territory, to manage the activities of distinguishing and developing new business opportunities

SOFT SKILLS required by the role:

  • Great organizational skills, as well as in planning and managing of sales teams, in order to efficiently and effectively coordinate the encounters with clients, encounters with agents deployed in other countries, the participation in fairs and events of the industry
  • Strong communicational and interpersonal skills: you will represent the company to important clients, both historical and future, who ever since recognize in the brand of the company a synonym for high quality and maximum trust
  • Proactivity, strong sense of responsibility and great motivation for the role: you have a resourceful and responsible attitude towards the development of new ideas, aimed at optimizing procedures and services
