Purpose of the position:
Ensure system and process excellence within the regional logistics functional area (warehouse,

distribution) and drive related enhancements across the region. Support and monitor logistics-related DIT processes and the adherence of external logistics service providers to tesa IT standard framework. Contribute to the logistics regional expert community to support enabling harmonization across clusters.

Position content (core accountabilities, strategic responsibilities, key activities):

  • Supporting SAP S/4 Hana roll out within the Region for the logistics area in close collaboration
with Sunrise program

  • Regional Process ownership of warehousing and transportation as Regional Key User (SAP
MM, EDI, EDI)

  • First point of contact for LKU in affiliates in regards of process and system expertise related to
Logistics processes

  • Design and document harmonized processes, training contents, concepts, and manuals,
according to the harmonization of processes and deliver them in the region

  • Support the development of all logistics technical requirements connected to customer projects
  • Analyze, recommend, and provide support to create IT demands, supervising and follow up on
the DIT workflow in collaboration with global key users, process owners, and IT department

  • Conduct the 3PL interface adjustments (e.g. tender provider changes, system migrations
etc...) and supervise the adherence of the external logistics service providers to tesa IT

standard framework

  • Create test cases and coordinate the execution
  • Maintain and keep up to date documentation
  • Ensure alignment and communication within the Key Users / Expert community (Global

expertise

Position location can be any tesa affiliate within Region Europe.

  • University degree or equivalent knowledge, with preferred Supply Chain specialization
(APICS certification as a plus)

  • 5+ years of experience in a logistics role within a matrix organized multinational company
  • Extensive knowledge of operational logistics processes, with a focus on IT integration
(e.g., 3PL EDI interfaces, SAP logistics settings)

  • Technical experience in logistics service provider resourcing project is a plus
  • Very good written and spoken English skills (C1 level or higher)
  • Project management capabilities
  • Experience in process analysis and mapping
  • Persuasive and assertive attitude
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with
cross-functional teams

  • Team player with a reliable and structured working style
  • Working autonomously and selfdriven, while proactively seeking support when needed
  • Eagerness for change, ambiguity, and new experiences, as well as for continuous learning
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tough deadlines
  • Motivated to collaborate in an international environment, with the willingness to
