Webuild Group is looking for recent

engineering graduates for

internships in the

Global Supply Chain (GSC) function, within the Procurement, Plant & Equipment and Asset & Material Management divisions. The placement will take the form of a 6-month extracurricular internship at the corporate headquarters in Milan. The internship is a training period with the aim of a contractual placement in one of the projects in Italy.


Among the most relevant projects in Italy, Webuild is realising: Milan's Line M4; Rome's Metro C; HS/HC Verona-Padua, Naples-Bari, Palermo-Catania-Messina railway lines; Terzo Valico dei Giovi and Genoa node; Genoa's Diga Foranea; Brenner Base Tunnel.


The GSC function is responsible for developing and defining the strategy to maximise the efficiency and productivity of the processes that drive the activities of the organisational units.

The main activities of the GSC divisions are as follows:

  • The
    Procurement division manages the Group's procurement processes, pursuing the objectives of cost-effectiveness, synergy, qualitative excellence and optimisation of the timing of delivery of goods, provision of services and stipulation and execution of contracts;
  • The
    Plant & Equipment division defines the sizing of plant and machinery (e.g. Tunnel Boring Machine
  • TBM) necessary to carry out the project on the basis of technical and performance requirements, also participating in the determination of the relative investment plans;

Asset & Material Management is responsible for the investment of the Group's plant and machinery park, in order to guarantee its optimal management from a technical and economic-financial point of view.


Requirements:


  • Master's degree in civil, mechanical or management engineering;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel and PowerPoint);
  • Good knowledge of English (minimum CEFR B2);
  • Ability to analyse data and orientation towards teamwork.
