- The candidate will work in team to complete the mechanical design of a new Electro Mechanical Medical Device interfacing directly with the Customer.
- Work in cross-functional teams with New Product Introduction, Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Testing Engineer
- Work within the project team adopting time and cost effective solutions
- Provide high quality technical reports supported by simulations and/or lab tests
- Investigate new technologies and trends with close relationship with vendors
- Participate in design reviews
- Educational background within Mechanical Engineering – MSc degree or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience developing Medical Devices or Combination Products on a detailed level.
- Knowledge for dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T is appreciated)
- CREO and/or SolidWorks
- Statistical Tolerance Analysis
- Design for Manufacturing e.g. parts for Injection Molding, High Volume Manufacturing
- Design for Assembly
