Position:

We are looking for an IT Specialist who is passionate about technology and keen on helping others to join our System Team.

As part of our team, you will work closely with the IT Manager and collaborate with talented professionals to provide exceptional technical support and assistance to our employees.
You will be in charge of troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing maintenance, and assisting with system upgrades and installations.

What you will do:

Track issues to resolution, updating the internal knowledge base and communicating the findings with relevant teams;
Escalate more involved problems to the appropriate higherlevel Support Teams; Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware and software systems, including desktops, laptops, printers, network, and peripherals;
Collaborate with other IT staff to implement new systems and technologies;
Develop and maintain documentation of IT processes and procedures;Provide support for ITrelated projects;
Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's data and systems;
Assist new joiners with the IT onboarding process.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience;

3+ years of experience in IT support or related field;
Experience with network infrastructure and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN;
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
Good knowledge of the best practices of cybersecurity;
You are curious and eager to learn, grow, and help others while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude;
You like to stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry trends and recommend new solutions to enhance the company's IT infrastructure;
You are organized, precise, and punctual;
You are pragmatic, and understand that speed is often as important as quality when getting things done;
You are resourceful and own the proposed solutions;
Fluency in English;
Located in Bologna or able to work onsite when required.

Nice to have:

Experience with ITIL framework and ITSM tools;

Experience with Active Directory and network infrastructures (including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points);
Experience with pfSense and/or other network appliances;
Experience with MDM solutions (Microsoft Intune, Jamf, etc.);
Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
