WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Purchasing Buyer Specialist represents purchasing as a member of a cross functional platform team tasked with continuous maintenance and improvement of CNH Industrial's great products.

This position is responsible for collaborating with suppliers and engineering to develop components from concept to production

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accountable for all direct material cost of the product equating to 75% of the total vehicle cost
Provides purchasing support by participating on platform teams; assesses and increases supplier value through participation in R&D, codesign, innovation, and other integration contribution
Manages negotiation and implementation of all technical modifications
Manages prototype parts ordering and procurement in order to support builds on time
Responsible to support technical cost reductions in terms of idea generation and implementation

YOUR KEY COMPETENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management or related.
Minimum 2/3 years of experience in purchasing, project management, or similar.
Experience in the production or procurement of components and subsystems, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of product development methodology (APQP or similar).
High knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
Ability to influence through indirect authority.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to understand and explain complex problems to others.
Ability to work well independently and with teams.
Fluent in English.
