Role purpose:


To assess the design, manufacture and in-service aspects of engineering assets, using defined Codes, Standards, specifications, procedures, and knowledge and experience appropriate for complex / demanding situations.

This role must include both business grow capabilities and managing projects. Position is home based so Surveyor will work from Home located in North Italy.


Key Responsibilities:

Actively contributing to a wide range of client projects with a focus on Inspection services

Organize and lead small teams (both internal and external) as part of a larger project, including performance management;

Contributing to business development, for example assistant with client proposals.


To perform complex assessments and provide advice for service delivery within agreed broad parameters that include budget constraints and contractual requirements.

To identify and develop external partnership instrumental for the services growth.

Undertake routine administration as required in line with current processes and procedures.


To assess/ recommend the time/value of the work to be undertaken for an external client within an agreed fee/cost structure and within the commercial aspects of the contract, and issue quotations up to an agreed limit and LRQA's standard terms and conditions.

Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards.


To contribute to internal/external client management as appropriate by acting as point of contact to effectively manage client and LRQA relationships.

To undertake project management where applicable including monitoring project progress and spend against budget and contract requirements.


Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements:
Shall possess a relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised university.

Commercial awareness and business acumen, including specifically a good understanding of technical assistance market.

Technical or specialist experience in Inspection (PED, ASME, Welding, )
