Description and Requirements:

Global Energy and Commodity Management is seeking for two (2)
Specialist Operations that will join a multi-cultural team supporting Global Fuels, Logistics and Circular Management Unit in managing the energy transition in traditional energy businesses.

Main responsibilities of the Operations unit are

To manage the dispatching of the planned deliveries of fuels, ashes and gypsum and the operation management of the fuels, shipping and logistic contracts within the scope of the other Global Fuels, Logistics and Circular Management units, including the management of the claims related to quality and quantity
To manage the Supply and Transport contracts under technical and administrative profile
To ensure, at Global Business Line level, the compliance with the safety requirements of sea transportation, managing the relations with the relevant counterparties and industrial associations (vetting)
To provide operating data and information as required by the other Global Fuels, Logistics and Circular Management
To define the fuels, ashes and gypsum recovery requirements including the planning of the storage levels in accordance with the Coal and Petcoke and Liquids and Biomass units.

What you will do
You will support the Unit in the following activities:

To manage at global level the activities aimed to agree with shipping and fuels suppliers proper demurrage costs related to Enel Group
Analysis and checking of extra shifting expenses with reference to Port Regulations and local tariff
To manage the operational contacts with Italian and foreign counterparties
Preparing the documentation to be presented to the Customs Office to custom clear all coal cargoes
Operational management of fuel cargoes through direct contact with shipowners
To keep an open dialogue with coalfired power plant in order to gather quality specifications need and tracing stock's levels
Technical/Operational management of inspection and surveillance contracts
Analysis and study of the regulations in force on ship safety and related impacts on the operation of the ships used by Enel
Discussion on technical tables and represent the technical focal point for the company on shipping issues
Implementation and management of reporting for process monitoring.

Who you are

Master degree in Economics and Business, in management Engineering, or equivalent
Professional use of the English language
Proven ability in data management and analysis process
Knowledge of Incident/nonconformity reporting and investigation process is considered a plus
Experience in fuel sampling and analysis activities is considered a plus
Knowledge of Spanish is considered a plus
Proven experience in the Energy sector is considered as a plus.
