Our client is a prestigious leading company in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry. The vacancy is for a
-
Cluster Continuous Improvement Lead covering 3 sites (one near Rome and the other two outside Italy) and based in the main site near Rome, with very good knowledge of Continuous Improvement and lean principles for accelerating and sustaining the transformation with an E2E mindset in Company's EMEA plants network.

  • The company already launched a dedicated Lean System in 2015 and in 2018 in all its sites in EMEA. An updated version 2.0 with a stronger end to end approach (Make, Quality, Source) has been developed and will be deployed in the coming 3 years.

The role:


  • Lead High Quality 2.0 Diagnostic delivering at cluster level an aspirational 3 years road map in line with Site Masterplan bringing Value in Safety, Quality, Reliability, Agility, Waste and Cost, influencing favorably the Supply Chain Scorecard.
  • Lead Road Map execution developing high Quality design charter leading to a robust detailed action plan and meaningful KPI to implement with success future state defined.
  • Lead strong governance conducting regular and demanding site scorecard review.
  • Develop site collaboration with Site Agent(s) to identify and bring options to cover gaps or business needs.
  • Develop new tools and capabilities of all site teams as per capabilities evaluation or other Enterprise/Global/Regional programs.
  • Strongly connected with Site Leads & Manufacturing Excellence community to understand business needs/urgency to improve specific areas with active participation and accountability.
  • Be active in Community of Practices between sites to facilitate exchange of best practices across sites (Regional & Global).
  • Participate and Lead initiatives linked to the Excellence Strategy implementation.
  • Active collaboration in Product Portfolio Cluster to support improvement activities required by the EMEA Lead or Cluster Manufacturing Excellence.


  • Accountable for Capital

  • OPEX
  • Savings of the related cluster activities in collaboration with regional MS&T and EMEA PPM leads.
  • Accountable Cluster reporting to EMEA Lead & Cluster MEX Lead

The requirements:


  • University degree (ideally in Supply Chain, Sciences, Engineering or Manufacturing)
  • At least 6 years of experience in Manufacturing Environment
  • Leadership experience in a plant environment or regional organization
  • Experience outside Manufacturing such as planning, delivering, or sourcing would be a plus
  • Outstanding 'lean attitude' and willingness/ability to learn fast: Continuous Improvement methodology background in Lean required (minimum BB or even MBB level)
  • Nativelevel knowledge of Italian language (C2) and Fluent in English (B2/C1 and above) other languages will be considered a plus
  • One or more of the following qualifications: Lean, Six Sigma/Black Belt, etc. (plus)
