For an important Luxury Hotel we are looking for an Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:


The Engineering Manager oversees all engineering operations for interior/exterior facilities including plumbing, refrigeration, heating/cooling, painting, carpentry, structural, recycling, electrical, ground care and parking areas.

This position is also responsible for Life/Fire safety systems, energy/green initiative systems and management of other engineering work necessary to maintain the property in an efficient condition to ensure the safety and comfort of residents and employees.


Main duties and tasks:

  • Ensure proper execution of work order/request system and that items are followed up on when necessary;
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules, policies and rules to ensure an efficient department;
  • Respond to guest callsregarding maintenance of rooms, equipment in the rooms and public area equipment's in a timely manner;
  • Support the energy conservation program allowing the hotel to meet its annual budget targets;
  • Maintain close working relations with hotel contractors who furnish reliable 24 hour emergency service;
  • Comply with and enforce Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Empact

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering;
  • Excellent knowledge of English;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, at all levels of the organization;
  • Budgetting experience and good knowledge of the P&L report. Knowledge of BMS supervision software such as Desigo CC, Fire Fighting Centers, Hotel Supervision Systems (VDA, Honeywell etc.)
