Responsibilities:
- Define in-line test specifications, fatigue test specifications, data analysis, and data collection for next-generation projects.
- Explore repair solutions for issues on vehicles in service.
- Collaborate with project groups (internal and external) to ensure the development of assigned activities.
- Act as the design reference for internal and external resources involved in the team addressing vehicle operation problems.
- Independent verification for new car and bogie projects.
- Conduct concurrent engineering with the production and service department.
- Monitor production in prototyping phases and validation tests of car register and bogies.
- Support operational checks and repairs of vehicle bodies and bogies in service.
Required Skills/ Knowledge:
- Experience in performing tasks as described above.
- Master of Science or technical degree, preferably in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years working on railway vehicle projects in an engineering role, preferably in structural fatigue and experimental data analysis.
- Availability for short domestic and overseas trips.
Desired Skills/ Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling (CREO), 2D drawing (CREO and AutoCAD), and FEA software.
- Understanding of welding processes using carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum alloy structures.
- Familiarity with structural fatigue, analytical approach, team-working attitude, flexibility, and result orientation.
Education / Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
Languages:
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, at least B2 level.
