We are looking for a Senior Finance Project Controller to join our rapidly growing Grid Technologies Sales/Productsbusiness based in Milano (Italy).

In this role, you will report to the Head ofFinance and Commercial and will support project/product sales and deliverytogether with Bid managers and Project managers in Italy.

How You'll Make an Impact:

Leading all commercial and financial topics throughout the whole sales/bid process (contract analysis, cost calculation, business models, financing concepts, currency, payment securities, insurances, export control, etc) and ensure approval process in accordance with Siemens rules.
Participating and contributing to customer and supplier meetings from contract negotiation, claims management, contract variations and contract formulation perspectives.
Familiarisation and screening of applicable contract related documents and advising the management and project team of critical issues.
Identifying, evaluating, and following up on all events relevant for incoming and outgoing claims.
Coleading projects together with the PM in handling and optimizing targeted financial results, managing customer expectations, and evaluating the risk exposure in line with the contractual terms.
Ensuring Commercial requirements are met, and Siemens Energy's contractual rights and entitlements are protected while running contracts and claims.
Preparing commercial documentation for regular project status meetings and ensuring the completeness of commercial/financial project data.
Dealing with Factories and HQ for financial and commercial topics
Project Controlling and reporting throughout the delivery phase and ownership of Revenue and Profit forecast accuracy.
Demonstrate a 'safety first' approach and live the Zero Harm culture: thinking & working safely, in agreement with organisation & regulatory requirements.

What You Bring:

Several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in Business Controlling and/or handling complex projects.
Experience within a Finance and Commercial Function within a complex business handling external customer bids/projects.
Great teammate who can coordinate e team of 3 people and work successfully across multidisciplinary teams.
Someone who displays the tenacity and perseverance to see topics through to completion.
Efficient communication skills and standing firm for the right things.
Ability to successfully forge balanced relationships with relevant contacts within the stakeholders organisations.
Fluent knowledge of Italian is crucial as also proficiency in written and spoken English.
Good Knowledge about SAP & MS Office
Availability to travel.
