Your role & mission
You will lead the McPhy technologies laboratory.

Reporting to the Technology Manager and managing a team of 5 people, you will test products, systems, services and technologies for electrolyser technologies business by leading/facilitating the end-to-end execution of tests, to achieve associated R&D project milestones, targets and desired outcomes.

You will coordinate the work of the technologies validation team, cooperating with local and cross-functional project team(s), product management and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure execution alignment, predictability and to optimize value delivery.

Your main responsibilities:

Responsible of the full verification and validation product design process as: performances validation, thermal verification, product standard compliance test, reliability test, software and hardware integration test, design margin verification;
Support system integration test to verify the product specification compliance according to the program management's development plan. Your inputs are the product specifications and design implementation, your output will be the complete list of the design validation and to confirm the product design based on the specifications;
Be constantly updated on big data trends, simulation and identification models, design of experiment, automatic and remote test execution;
Your workflow will be part of McPhy gate model development process where you need to coordinate your work with the entire validation team

Your peers will be:
R&D Dept., Design Dept., Industrialization Dept., Technology Manager, daily reviewing the project to meet the business case of the product;

Support Commissioning during the installation and ramp up of equipment;
Laboratory equipment management: oscilloscope, datalogger, high power electronics loads

Software tools:
C++, Matlab, Simulink, communication protocol analyzer, labview.

Your profile

Master's degree in Industrial disciplines such as Electrical/Chemical Engineering with a background in laboratory testing to fit into our R&D global organization;
At least 35 years of experience in electrolyser production or similar company, focusing on products design and production as laboratory testing engineer. Experience on product testing for electrolysis, instruments validation, electrical;
Expert on design of experiment, testing setup, electrical system expert (PES as Italian safety certification);
Good Knowledge on HW and SW installation;
Fluent both in Italian and English;
A passionate handon person with a lot of flexibility and creativity to accept proactively the daily challenges to provide the best solution. Agility as ability to change direction fast;
Be able to work in a multicultural global organization, with open and inclusive mindset;
Flexibility to travel worldwide;
Excellent leadership skills.
