Education required: Master's Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Bio-Engineer or equivalent.

Other requirements:

Basic requirements:

Knowledge of ELISA method, as well as interest in vaccine development and immunology constitutes a plus.
Good Computer skills including word processing, Excel, PowerPoint and relevant scientific software
Familiarity with statistical analysis and design of experiments is beneficial.
Fluent in Italian and English

Project description

Competencies the intern will develop thanks to the internship experience:

Anti-antigen specific ELISA / Luminex development using novel High-Throughput systems methodology
Assays development to evaluate the quantity and the functionality of vaccine induced antibodies
Nontechnical: ability to follow working instructions and procedures; to work with the team to ensure the maintenance of equipment and reagents in compliance with GSK and EHS requirements; development of problemsolving and timemanagement skills.
