All about the role:

If are passionate about innovation, with excellent organizational and leadership skills, paired with deep knowledge of control theory, algorithms, and machine learning, join us to lead our global Control Algorithms and & Functionalities developments.

The Mission of the Control Algorithms & Functionality area is to enable the company strategy at a global level by empowering our products with cutting-edge technologies and science-driven algorithmic innovation, aimed at delivering the highest quality products with unprecedented ease of use, performance, and environmental sustainability.

What you'll do:

Take ownership of the Algorithms and Functionalities Module area, consisting of the collection of algorithms in charge of controlling the thermodynamic behavior of the appliance aimed at improving performance and efficiency, and intelligent functionalities delivering enhanced consumer experience.
Define the technical roadmap for algorithm modularization to support the product generation strategy, with particular focus on energy, noise, freshness, and smartness attributes.
Foster the systematic adoption of Automatic Code Generation of Control Algorithms developed with the Model Based Design paradigm, defining coding rules and interfaces with FW of appliance control boards and user interfaces.
Adopt tools, assign physical and human resources, skills and training needed to have a highperformance delivery team to support the strategy of the Food Preservation's CXPL Tech & Labs organization.
Consolidate the strategy to calibrate and test the algorithm in the validation and certification laboratories, accelerating the testing of new concepts using Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP).
Widespread and boost the control algorithm "culture" (promote trainings and workshops and create awareness on control algorithms and functionalities)
Foster crossfertilization through scientific networking, involving also external partners & academia to develop talents and learn new skills.
Define the Process to create/validate and maintain algorithms worldwide as well as drive and deliver business results in a short

- and long-term expectations.

Who you are:

Master's degree or PhD in Information Engineering/Control System is highly recommended.
Deep experience of Control System Engineering (10+ years), ideally in automotive, household, aerospace, robotics, or plant automation sectors.
Experience of team leadership in a multicultural environment, coordinating people located in different timezones.
Proficient user of Matlab / Simulink, with focus on the adoption of the Model Based Design paradigm.
In your career, you should have consistently designed and validated in practice, be it appliances or industrial automation controls, embedded control systems and/or process control algorithms.
Capable to inspire and engage people while fostering a culture of accountability and ownership.
Capable to react fast and positively to new unknown or ambiguous situation and adapt accordingly.
Knowledge of C language for programming microcontrollers is a plus.
Knowledge of python language for machine learning models is a plus.

You will be based in Susegana, only 1 hour distance from Venice, joining the Food Preservation's Consumer experience & Product Line Technology & Laboratories Organisation in Susegana.
