Position Summary:


For Omnia, now part of STERIS Group, we are looking for an
Accounting Clerk to join our Finance Team in Fidenza (PR).

Accounting Clerk will perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.


Duties:


  • Process 3 way Purchase Order matching invoices.
  • Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Responds to all vendor inquiries.
  • Reconciles vendor statements, researching and correcting discrepancies.
  • Manages the monthly VAT reconciliation.
  • Assists in month, quarter and annual end closing.
  • Maintains files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
  • Assists with other projects as needed.
  • Supports to treasury activities (i.e. payments, uploading payments on the Home Banking, cashflow forecast etc.).

Education Degree:


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate's Degree in Business
    Required Experience:
  • Two or more years of experience in accounts payable area.
  • Good English Level.
  • Must be capable of interfacing with vendors and internal departments in a firm, but diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must be experienced with MS-Excel, MS-Outlook and MS-Explorer.
  • Must be experience with ERP accounts payable modules.
