About the Role:

For our office in Milan, we are looking for a Tax and Accounting Specialist. The tax and accounting specialist ensures full compliance with tax regulations and manages end-to-end accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely tax filings and efficient tax operations. This role acts as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external authorities, supporting the Senior Manager in strategic decision-making through accurate financial data and proactive tax planning.

Responsibilities:

• Management of general accounting processes, including invoice recording, document verification;
  
• Collaborate with team for periodic financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance;
  
• Collaborate with team for monthly and/or annual closing activities, including reconciliations and adjustments;
  
• Prepare and support the Senior Manager for tax and accounting documentation for statutory and internal purposes;
  
• Support the Senior Manager for compliance with local and international tax regulations, including timely tax filings and payments;
  
• Collaborate with auditors and tax advisors to support audits and optimize fiscal strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Master's degree or professional certifications (e.G., CPA, ACCA) are considered a plus.

Required Skills:

• Solid knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles (local GAAP);
  
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.G., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite;
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English;

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in accounting firms specialising in international taxation is considered a plus (for example: Transfer Pricing).
