MISSION

The incoming person will be responsible for defining, analysing and monitoring product costs from the development phase to the production one.

He/she will also be in charge of verifying the time required to realise products at the manufacturers working alongside the technical team and of verifying leather consumptions by providing feedback aimed at improving product cost and reducing stocks.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

Insertion, analysis and monitoring of costs among collections by using SAP;
Interaction with Category Management Team during development phase for margin analysis together with Head of Development, and during preproduction for margin final calculation.
Interaction with Demand planning during launch phase;
Time calculation & analysis of phases at Manufacturer site, comparing estimations between preseries phase and Development phase;
Leather Consumption check and report on Batch Zero Sheet;
Consumption analysis focused on product cost improvement and stock reduction, providing feedback to Development Team on leather consumption quote(?).

PROFILE

Degree in Economics/Management Engineering or related areas;

3-5 years of experience in Leather Goods Industry as Costing/ Time&Methods/ Planning Specialist

Good knowledge on Leather production phases;
Basic knowledge of
SAP;
Good
English Level (B2 or more);
Good command of Excel (Pivot ecc.);
Good attitude to work indipendently and to communicate successfully with Technical Team and Manufacturers
Negotiation skill is a must for this job
