Main Responsibilities of the role:

Develop and implement medium and longterm sourcing strategies in collaboration with R&D, Quality, Operations to ensure best TCO and secure on time deliveries;
Successfully manage a large supplier base, negotiating terms and pricing;
Conduct market research and report on movements in price and changes in terms being offered
Manage supplier relationships including quality and supply issues, improving suppliers' performances and building successful supply chain partnership
Identify and assess new supply options for current and upcoming purchasing requirements
Complete the internal suppliers approval process to ensure that all suppliers meet the relevant business standards and all the relevant certification and records are up to date
Arrange and attend regular meetings with suppliers in order to analyse and discuss suppliers performances as well as gain knowledge of the full portfolio of products and services offered
Analyse purchasing processes, identify and implement cost savings opportunities, drive continuous improvements on service level, quality, TCO and innovation

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in economics or mechanical/electronic engineering
Multifunctional and multicultural communication
Minimum bilingual (Italian + English)
Data analysis / communication / problem solving / team spirit
