    What will you do?

    Casavo is looking for a skilled Senior Product Designer with a strong expertise in UI design to join our talented design team. You will help ideate awesome digital products end-to-end. You'll be key in bridging business needs with end-users; your design skills will be crucial in improving our products' usability and aesthetics, making a significant impact on our final customers' experiences.

    You'll join a skilled cross-functional team and take an active part in a Design Community to share your knowledge and inspire others.

    As a Casavo Senior Product Designer you will:

  • Design and craft unique products that are Useful and Valuable to users.
  • Have full ownership of the design strategy for the products in your domain by approaching complex problems with simple design solutions.
  • Work alongside different colleagues and stakeholders such as PMs, POs, Marketing, Finance, Operations and, (above all) Product Developers.
  • Contribute to the growth of our Design Community through sharing and critique practices with other Product Designers. You'll help define design standards and evangelize our design culture across the company.
  • You'll have the responsibility of measuring your product team's work impact by analyzing data and seeing results in the real world.
  • You'll be responsible for collecting user needs, formulating and validating hypotheses to iterate your design choices.

    • Key qualifications for the role

    Our approach to Product Design is always evolving and your participation will be fundamental in helping this grow as a role. If you think you don't cover the entire spectrum of requirements detailed here, but think you're up for the position, don't be discouraged to send us your proposal. We believe that professional skills can always be augmented inside and outside Casavo.

    Work experience:

  • At least 5+ years experience building digital products ideally in a tech or real estate company (e.g.responsive websites, mobile apps, Tv apps and other digital interfaces - experience with products involving other user interactivity like voice commands and others is welcomed)
  • Experience working in an agile software development organization, deeply involved with multidisciplinary teams (developers, PMs, POs, Marketing...)
  • Experience/or good knowledge of usability testing (you'll be responsible for discovering new opportunities to test and organize usability tests with your team members).
  • Experience in funnel optimization is preferred.

    • Key responsibilities

  • You have experience writing user stories in collaboration with your team and managing backlog items, incorporating design tasks and metrics.
  • You have experience working alongside PMs, POs, and other related stakeholders involved in the product development process.
  • You're used to working closely with content designers to integrate content seamlessly with UI design;
  • You have solid experience working with Developers side-by-side.
  • You have experience using Jira or similar software for backlog and software delivery processes.
  • You understand the digital product pipeline process and can individuate key stakeholders to deliver successful products.
  • You are able to individuate, "dissect" and prioritize UI solutions to concentrate on the features that deliver the most value for a product.
  • You have an iterative mindset to incrementally deliver value to users and fail with the lowest impact possible on business.

    • UI & Interaction Design

  • You're skilled in developing high-quality UIs using Figma, Sketch, or similar design software.
  • You're skilled at ideating, collaborating, and maintaining a Design System (you know what a design system is and its important role to crafting consistent, usable, and accessible digital products).
  • You have experience working with other Product Designers, critique, and improve your work.
  • You feel comfortable generating Wireframes and Prototypes using Figma or similar software. Advanced prototyping skills (ProtoPie, Framer X, Origami Studio) are highly welcomed.
  • You have great experience crafting user interactions across multiple devices and platforms like Web, Mobile (iOS/Android/Windows), and others.

    • Quality Assurance:

  • You have experience working in teams using automated testing practices, or QA team members that carry out testing procedures.
  • You understand the fundamentals of QA testing processes and the importance of product quality.

    • Documentation

  • You have experience and feel comfortable producing use cases, and user flows to back up your solutions.
  • You are able to communicate clearly and concisely to explain your ideas among your peers.
  • You feel comfortable writing documentation that helps your colleagues stay in sync.
  • You feel comfortable speaking and writing in English.

    • Training & Learning

  • You have experience, or like the idea of, creating, conducting or supporting great Workshops on product-related matters.

    • Design vision

  • You have a strong ability in drafting and executing a design vision together with your fellow colleagues.
  • You are able to:
  • Explain the vision to stakeholders and get their buy-in.
  • Design a strategy to realize it.
  • Execute the strategy while supporting others in the execution.
