We are currently recruiting for a
Project Manager based at our amazing
Gardaland Resort


You'll provide Project Management Services to the Resort Theme Park for the successful delivery of all CAPEX projects for Gardaland - in excess of £1.0M - on time, to budget and in-line with brand guidance.

The Project Manager will take our MMM Creative teams fantastic ideas and turn them into reality, as well as giving your support to the onsite senior Management teams.

This will mean talking to a wide variety of internal and external people, including builders, suppliers, creatives and marketing, and being able to hold your ground.


About the Role

No project will go ahead without you having investigated its feasibility, cost, safety and planning - it'll be your job to assess the potential risk.

Whatever the particulars, your considerable organisational experience and unquestioned ability to influence will make sure every project you're involved in runs like clockwork.


Operations:


  • Orchestrate project delivery, managing client expectations and business impact.
  • Foster innovation while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Navigate change and make decisions within guidelines.
  • Smooth out daily challenges affecting project delivery and park operations.

Marketing:


  • Collaborate with Creative Directors and External Advisors to enhance marketability.
  • Keep management informed about project progress.
  • Build positive relationships with stakeholders.

Financial:


  • Monitor budget closely, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Seek efficiencies through modern construction methods.
  • Accurately forecast project costs, timelines, and resources.
  • Ensure quality and value while considering ongoing maintenance costs.
  • Maximize returns on investment.

Development:


  • Implement Merlin Processes for effective meetings.
  • Manage client interactions and expectations.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Drive the review process for project briefs/specifications and suppliers.

People**:


  • Lead by example and mentor your team.
  • Select the best advisors and contractors.
  • Foster effective working relationships among key partners.

Health & Safety:


  • Prioritize Health, Safety & Security, promoting a "safety first" culture.
  • Ensure full compliance with & to policies and procedures
  • Ensure risk assessments and safe procedures.
  • Actively report incidents and suggest safety improvements.

About You
This is an exciting role for someone looking to join a totally unique company.

We are a fast paced business and therefore looking for team members to be adaptable by nature with the ability to challenge the status quo.

We are looking for the following skills and experience:

Design, engineering and construction Project Management experience.
A strong understanding of construction methods and knowledge of the HSE regulations.

Has a full understanding of construction means and methods, and the ability to understand and interpret construction documents to deliver optimum performance during each construction phase.

Solid understanding of local authority requirements, planning restrictions, rules and regulations and their impact upon projects.
Extensive experience in creating and managing timelines, budgets and construction quality for new project developments.

Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels both internally and externally.

You will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word proficient and a working knowledge of MS project for scheduling would be advantageous.

Proactive in ensuring deliverables are met on time, risks are identified and mitigated, and issues are managed and resolved.
Resilient with the ability to work under pressure.
