As we move forward with the expansion of our European Data Centre business, we now seek experienced an experienced
Construction Manager who will join us in helping us deliver these demanding, high value, complex projects in Milan.


Job Description What you are expected to have: -**- Experience in the construction management of large complex projects involving new site development, pre-construction, or construction phases of projects.

  • Experience in the Project Management of large scale, complex, construction projects for clients, delivered on time and within budget.
  • Influencing skills as well as strong communication skills allowing you to effectively interact with clients, contractors, management, and colleagues.
  • An ability to manage expectations, influence change, and report/update accurately on progress drawing on you strong planning and organization skills.
  • Strong understanding in areas of MEP and/or CSA disciplines. Clientside or GC background.

What you will be doing:
-


  • Manage all site based construction activity on behalf of demanding clients.
  • Manage safety and quality in accordance with relevant policies / procedures / protocols.
  • Supervise progress for CSA / M&E activities.
  • Participating in design reviews where necessary.
  • Ensure that the correct strategy is in place to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Ensure flow of information between all parties to the contract is effective and timely.
  • Lead or attend key meetings and be prepared to provide progress reports, collaborate to resolve issues, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
  • Keep the project scope under review including impacts to budget and schedule
  • Identify risks and predict potential delays and action remedies.
  • Performing cost analysis where required.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing site based construction
  • Advanced skills with spreadsheets, report writing and presentations.
  • Strong and professional communication skills, with great organization skills, ability to multitask.
  • Must have a "team attitude", be selfmotivated and be willing to support other groups and projects when required.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, creativity and dynamism.
  • Flexible mobility advantageous.
  • Italian language skills will be advantageous
