Trainee for Improvements of Metadata Portal

Eurac Research, an interdisciplinary research center in Italy, seeks a motivated master's student with Web APP development experience. The selected candidate will enhance the metadata portal's interoperability by implementing signposting functionality and a FAIR score evaluation tool.

• Signposting functionality: adding linksets and linked data
• FAIR score evaluation tool: evaluating metadata records' fairness

The trainee will gain knowledge on data sharing fostered by the European Commission and support the research community. Ideal qualifications include computer science or software engineering background, good Python skills (Django preferred), GIT environment familiarity, web development tools expertise (HTML/CSS/Bootstrap), strong English proficiency, collaboration ability, motivation, curiosity, responsibility and commitment.
