Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and professional Head Hostess to join our hospitality team at an exclusive hotel (name undisclosed).

As the Head Hostess, you will play a key role in providing exceptional guest service, managing the front-of-house operations, and ensuring seamless dining experiences for our patrons.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead the host/hostess team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellence in guest service.
Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
Manage table seating assignments to optimize guest flow and maximize restaurant capacity.
Coordinate reservations, including managing the reservation system, confirming bookings, and accommodating special requests.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth coordination of food and beverage service.
Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
Maintain a welcoming and organized frontofhouse environment, including cleanliness, decor, and ambiance.
Assist with special events, private dining, and other hospitality functions as needed.
Monitor and uphold compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and restaurant policies.
Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving guest satisfaction, enhancing operational efficiency, and achieving revenue goals.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or in a similar guestfacing role, with demonstrated leadership abilities.
Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage reservations, seating, and guest inquiries effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests, colleagues, and management.
Ability to remain calm and composed in highpressure situations, such as managing busy shifts or resolving guest complaints.
Knowledge of reservation systems and restaurant operations preferred.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the hospitality industry.

Pay:
From €1,400.00 per month
