We are looking for a
Dealer Support - Technical Documentation & Serviceability to join our headquarters at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the
Head of Service.


You will be responsible to ensure delivery of technical documentation (for new models, new technologies & repair systems) to dealers, in terms of availability of repair procedures, labour times and special tools development.

You will be responsible also to ensure "customer oriented" After Sales solutions (Serviceability) are appropriately prioritized according to projects plans.


Maintenance Plan and Pre-delivery Operations (PDI):

  • editing the Pre-delivery Inspection list for each new model, according to service technical requirements released by R&D
- editing the Maintenance Plan for each new model, according to service technical requirements released by R&D, in order to avoid potential mechanical, electric or electronic problem in "normal condition "use
- supporting Cost of Ownership calculation, according to business strategies


Documentation:
- coordinating the external supplier for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for the dealer network for the servicing and repair of all the models
- monitoring engineering changes and understand the impact to documentation, ensuring all documentation is kept up to date, and developing vehicle repair instruction and systems descriptions with the aim to help maximise first right repair within dealer network
- optimising documentation output to ensure the information provided to the dealer network is intuitive and accessible to all supported markets
- defining and monitoring KPI system implementation for Repair Manuals
- using in full autonomy the WEB Group Systems (Elsa Pro) in case of carry over part aiming to optimize the synergies with VW-Audi
- assuring that the repair manual procedures are aligned to spare parts catalogue


Labour Times:
- identifying all the specific parts for each model and, according to the repair strategy, defining the labour time for all the complete work allowed on the components (comprehensive of preliminary and final operations)
- defining and monitoring KPI system implementation for Labour Times


Tools development:
- reviewing potential requirements for special tools, coding, testing on car, validation and communication to Spare Parts team
- checking the number of approved tools and dealer investment to be evaluated model by model
- verifying if the special tool is necessary or if already existing in the WV range
- analysing new tools to be introduced (functions & cost benefit evaluation)
- giving preliminary input about tool policy: mandatory or on demand
- approving new tools from technical point of view (being sure that tools & interfaces works properly) before starting the sourcing from external supplier
- assigning the location in the tool cabinet


Product Development (New model Serviceability):
- ensuring appropriate After Sales attendance in all internal SET/DMU/Concept Development Team meetings as part of the new vehicle development programme
- ensuring that "customer oriented" After Sales solutions are appropriately prioritized according to projects plans


About you

  • University Degree in Engineering
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Automotive
  • General knowledge of vehicles
  • Fluent English, German will be considered as a plus
  • Relational skills and good standing
