    Job Summary

    The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards. This includes managing vendor relationships, maintaining inventory controls, and enforcing sanitation and safety protocols.

    Candidate Profile

    To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or a related major. Alternatively, they may have a minimum of 2 years' experience in purchasing or a related field.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Manage work, projects, policies, and standards for purchasing across departments
    2. Support purchasing operations by leading, influencing, and encouraging others to advocate sound financial and business decision-making
    3. Maintain finance and accounting goals by submitting reports in a timely manner and ensuring profits and losses are documented accurately
    4. Develop and implement specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
    • Interact with kitchen staff, vendors, and Executive Chef
    • Attend and participate in all pertinent meetings
    • Provide direction and assistance to other organizational units regarding accounting and budgeting policies and procedures
