    • Responsibilities

    SGSS has been present in Italy since September 2006 through a dedicated Italian Bank, SGSS , one of the main players in the Securities Services' industry that covers all SGSS businesses for its two segments of clients: Financial Institutions & Brokers and Asset Managers & Insurance. Thanks to over 500 employees based in Milan and Turin, SGSS ensures a daily support to over 300 clients. Our clients are institutional investors (insurance companies and pension funds), asset managers, financial intermediaries (brokers, investments companies).

    Mission:

    The employee of Clearing & Settlement Services is in charge on post-trade processing of securities transactions in local and foreign markets, and clients oriented, strongly seeks clients' satisfaction, quality and efficiency of the services delivered by SGSS

    Desired start date: as soon as possible

    Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Ensure settlement of post-trade transactions by monitoring internal platforms and market tools
  • Oversee several transversal processes within the office DVP Settlement
  • Monitor pending transactions and manage settlement issues with Back Office and Middle Office clients
  • Foster and monitor compliance with external and internal directives and rules and the respect of the matrix for operational risks
  • Be confident to work in a high-stress environment with a strong focus on priorities, guidelines and internal policy

    • Profile required

    Studies & experience:

  • Bachelor's degree Economics/Social studies/Legal/Engineering
  • Financial Industry background

    • Language skills:

  • Italian - C2
  • English - B2

    • Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
