We have several new software projects starting soon and are looking for a new colleague with experience on tech stack bootstrapping and architectural decisions to join our skilled and growing team.

Senior Backend Software Engineer (Architect) New Technologies (M/F/d) What is the role about With your hands-on architectural skills, you will play a key role in prototyping, technology selections and system design for the new upcoming software projects and modernization of our current assets.

As a team player, you will also help others to learn and overcome technicalchallenges.

Must-have qualifications Good knowledge of Java (current codebase) Experience in backend essentials such as databases and API / microservices design Experience in developing / maintaining large-scale software products Experience in bootstrapping software projects Confident command of English Good-to-have Experience with frontend tools like AngularJS, ReactJS, etc Experience with automated testing, CI/CD tools Experience with Docker Basic German knowledge, as your team is mainly German What is like to work at Hogrefe We have modern and well-equipped workplaces and flexible working hours.
