Job Description SummaryPortfolio Origination professionals select investment opportunities to purchase credit portfolios from distressed companies.

Job DescriptionYou will be included in the Portfolios area, which deals with the origination and execution of new investment opportunities related to distressed credit portfolios.

Your role will initially be in supporting the team in the origination of new investment opportunities in NPL or UTP portfolios.

In particular, you will be responsible for analyzing the information material available (teaser, info memo, loan datatape) to evaluate investment opportunities; coordinate the Due Diligence process with the other structures of the bank and external advisors, interfacing with the seller and his consultants.

You will collaborate with the Pricing team in the definition of an investment strategy and in the determination of the price and you will participate in the negotiation with the seller and with his legal advisors.

You will then manage, with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility, theentire process from the origination to the on-boarding of opportunities on defaulted loan portfolios.

Degree in economic disciplines", "2-4 years of experience in Investment Bank (M&A, Structured Finance) or in consulting firm in the Corporate Finance area (M&A, Restructuring, Debt Advisory)", " Natural propensity for teamwork and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external interlocutors", "Excellent analytical skills and critical sense", "Excellent knowledge of the Office suite (in particular Excel and PowerPoint)", "Fluent EnglishAdditional Job DescriptionThe Distressed Credit Division is dedicated to the acquisition, management and enhancement of corporate distressed credits, both secured and unsecured, and to the financing of other buyers.

Within the Division, our servicer neprix, fully owned by illimity Bank, is responsible for carrying out the due diligence activities of the portfolios under evaluation, the onboarding of the acquired portfolios and their subsequent management.
