Pfizer is hiring a Passionate, Talented, Innovative, Charismatic Sr Medical Affairs Scientist (MAS) in COVID Franchise Medical Affairs Department.


The hiring of the Sr MAS COVID Franchise fits the iTALent purpose, providing a rare growth and development opportunity to lead scientific innovation in our Therapeutic Area.

The Sr MAS COVID Franchise will report to the Therapeutic Area Medical Director.


Why Patients Need YouThe COVID Franchise Sr Medical Affairs Scientist is a permanent member of the COVID Franchise Medical Affairs organization, with the responsibility of leading the medical strategy to sustain the value of COVID treatment in protecting people's health.- The Sr MAS will join the COVID Franchise Team and will be responsible for COVID Antivirals in Italy.- Will have direct relationships with healthcare and Public Health professionals, and will work in close partnership with internal and external stakeholders to maximize the potential of COVID treatment, sharing the common final objective: people's health protection.

  • Leading the conversation to positively influence the external environment and help treatment of SARS-COV2 disease
  • Developing and leading local medical strategy
  • Transforming our "go to market model": act as critical change agent leveraging on medical and scientific capabilities to lead acceleration of new capabilities, including digital and multichannel medical.
Primary Responsibilities- Maintain the highest scientific standards during in/external activities to provide deep medical and scientific expertise- Establish a strong collaborative scientific relationship with relevant stakeholders in the assigned area (KOLs, medical societies, and other relevant internal/external stakeholders)- Integrate customer medical insights into the country medical and brand strategy, provide medical and scientific strategic support to the global medical team, medical leadership to the country brand team, country and / or local XFTs, drive implementation of the country medical plan- Contribute to local medical strategies implementation for SARS-COV2 disease treatment- Observe compliance rules, ensuring activities and communications are conducted in compliance with all policies, guidelines, and regulation and ensure the respect of medical independence

What You Offer- Medicine degree is required/strongly preferred- Board certification is preferred- Academic experience and/or clinical experience and/or Public Health experience are strongly preferred- Industry experience is required- Knowledge of the therapeutic area (Infectious Diseases, Public Health) is preferred- Knowledge of clinical development processes- Fluent English plus local language- Excellent communication and public speaking skills- Adherence to
