Posizione:


Italdesign is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Battery Pack System Team Leader mainly focusing on the Concept Phase of the development.

S/He will be employed in the eTraction Team based in Moncalieri and S/He will be responsible for the Battery Pack Concept activity.


Responsibilities

  • Coordination of Project stakeholders regarding the High Voltage Battery development process (ensure compliance using the milestone checklist and review checklist);
  • Coordination of involved departments for HV Batteries concept design (HV battery installation package, interfaces, weight estimation, performance estimation, etc.);
  • Tracking of release recommendations coming from involved departments for system and subcomponents according to the specific responsibilities;
  • Tracking of suppliers and supporting the suppliers technical rating;
  • Manage the Project transfer from concept development to series development;
  • Organization, execution and followup of meetings (e.g., coordination / supplier discussions / weekly status / project discussion / core team meeting / steering committee, team coordination) with documentation of the results;
  • Maintain the Open Points List (OPL), active tracking monitoring and manage the escalation process in case of noncompliance;
  • Preparation of technical documentation for system and components of the HV Battery Pack (e.g., Traffic light page / Documents for discussions in Technical team / Expertise team);
  • Project Risk management to identify the risks, risks probabilities, and definition / tracking of the countermeasures;
  • Set up and update Project schedule;
  • Tracking of Project milestones, preparing status and presentations for management levels.

Requisiti:


Key requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in development projects in the Automotive field;
  • At least 3 years of the above experience in High Voltage Battery Systems with crossfunctional team working;
  • Good Knowledge of Electric Vehicle architecture, HV Battery and Battery Management System;
  • Good Knowledge of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Systems Engineering, System requirements and specifications;
  • Experience on understanding customer requirements;
  • Take on responsibility, work independently being able to share achievements with the team;
  • Ability to organize/motivate a teamwork depending on needs and contingent situations;
  • Problem solving, ability to synthesize information, priority management, proactivity, flexibility, resilience;
  • Intermediation capacity between his/her own team and the other teams involved;
  • Ability to manage suppliers;
  • Decision making skills combined with an assertive and persuasive leadership style;
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks;
  • Ability to anticipate, manage critical situations and provide effective solutions;
  • Negotiation skills.

Preferential requirements

  • Functional development experience;
  • Deep knowledge of Electric Vehicles Requirements and Performances;
  • Good knowledge of CAE Tools, CFD Tools, Matlab/Simulink;
  • Knowledge of OEM Standard processes.

  • Education: Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace, Electronic Engineering or equivalent;
  • Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required. Knowledge of German would be appreciated
