Purpose of the Job

The System Engineer is part of the Project Engineering team.

Develop system or subsystems architecture
Define and allocate requirements
Evaluate design trade-offs
Balance technical risk
Define and assess interfaces

The System Engineer provides all necessary support to the System Engineering Manager (SEM) / Project Engineering Manager (PrEM) for the technical answer to the needs expressed by the Solution Director and the specific user project needs.

Main Responsibilities

Develop system documents, specifications and other technical documents
Apply the system engineering processes
Ensure that the system technically fulfils the defined needs and enhancements (change requests)
Minimise, by design, the System deployment cost, lead time and risks
Contribute to the definition and maintenance of the System Baselines

The System Engineer works closely with other System Engineers and Métier engineers to ensure the design fits with the intended architecture.
