    Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager

    Job ID: 2605012 | Amazon Commercial Services Pty Ltd We are looking for motivated, customer-focused professionals to lead our site's Engineering team.

    The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager is responsible for leading their team and building a culture of safety, ensuring statutory compliance requirements are met, and providing high equipment availability.

    They work closely with the EU Engineering team to plan for future growth and participate in network-wide improvement initiatives. They also implement standards created elsewhere in the network.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the team, own annual reporting responsibilities, and mentor direct reports.
    • Work with the site Safety department & Site Leadership to implement, record, and audit safety and statutory compliance programs.
    • Own legal responsibilities as the site engineering lead within this framework.
    • Recruit high-quality experienced staff and support Apprentice and Graduate programs.
    • Implement standards validated by the AU Engineering team and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Maintain equipment failure contingency plans, coordinate rehearsals, and ensure failures or breakdowns are rectified quickly.
    • Work with Site Management, Finance, the AU Engineering team, and internal design teams to plan for future growth, upgrades, or new equipment rollouts.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Relevant experience in Engineering team leadership.
    • Employee and performance management experience.
    • Distribution or manufacturing field experience with equivalent mechanical or electrical field experience.
    • Facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management experience.
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience/ 2+ years of Amazon experience.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions.
    • Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics.
