Position Purpose

  • Reporting to HR Manager, the HRBP will support all matters pertaining to human resources in the Plant
  • Be the business partner of the Plant Management Team
  • Supporting Italia HR department

Organization

  • Direct report to HR Director
  • Functional report to HR Director

Areas of responsibility

  • The day to day management of the local HR department's activities and ensure that the department is managed in such a way that approved plans are achieved
  • Ensure that the HR activity at all times are managed according to existing laws and regulations, governmental requirements and internal procedures
  • Implement activities for continuous improvements within the function and initiate and implement activities for improvement within the activities of the G&W Italia Plant.
  • Develop targets and action plans and budgets according to requirements defined by the company
  • Ensure regular follow up of relevant KPIs for the local HR function, and if necessary implement corrective actions
  • This responsibility includes, but is not limited to:

  • Business and HR transformation
  • Support, influence and contribute to the Plant strategy from a HR point of view (change management)
  • Support and develop the Plant HR organization respectively
  • Ensure reliable HR data for the G&W Italia population (salary, skills, education)
  • Sponsor and ensure the respect of HR policies

Leadership and talent development

  • Ensure a practical and efficient HR process to detect and evolve talents
  • Ensure the implementation of processes to develop leadership skills
  • Support the HR Director to develop a career management system to keep and evolve talents
  • Contribute to G&W group succession planning and individual development programs

  • Ensure and support the implementation of the competency models in the Plant
  • Provide the right competence at the right place
  • Implement the necessary training programs to develop the people

High performance workforce

  • Identify key positions with a constant dialogue with the Plant and support functions
  • Deploy a performance management system in line with G&W standards_ _

Work Environment and Employment Relationship

  • Maintain a constructive cooperation with workers representatives
  • Support the HR Director to drive labor agreement negotiations with workers representatives
  • Ensure that communication and relevant actions comply with the legislation and G&W governance
  • Develop generally a social leadership approach

  • Ensure efficient people administration processes
  • Define and adapt reporting procedures and planning processes
