Job Description Summary
A Senior Product Owner in Enterprise Imaging is a key role that involves managing the product vision, roadmap, and features for imaging software products within an enterprise.
The Senior Product Owner is responsible for understanding the big picture.
You need to focus on the "why" when considering the development of a product.
The Senior Product owner will be the connector between Product Managers, cross-functional engineering teams, Product Owner peers and end users to take the roadmap and strategy into development and implementation. This requires a focused mindset and ability to utilize distinct business tools and processes.
The Senior, Product Owner must strive to understand the needs of all the stakeholders to deliver the right agreed upon, finished product and plays a crucial role in ensuring that enterprise imaging products are innovative and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. You must be adept at balancing customer needs with technical capabilities and business priorities.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Define and prioritize the product backlog items based on overall strategy and business objectives as determined by their Product Manager.
• Facilitate sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings to align with the product roadmap and improve processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, ensuring the product meets, usability/UX guidelines, customer needs and market demands.
• Oversee development stages, acting as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, to ensure features are delivered according to specifications.
• Implement risk management strategies to identify potential product issues and mitigate risks.
• Champion the adoption of new technologies or processes within the product development lifecycle to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a product owner, preferably in healthcare technology or medical imaging.
• Knowledge of Agile working methods and Scrum/Kanban frameworks.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to perform root cause analysis and problem detection.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications such as ITIL, CSPO, or PMP.
• Familiarity with software development and web technologies
