The Indirect Procurement Manager reports to the Procurement Director.

The purpose of this position is to guarantee the correct and cost effective provision of requested goods, equipment and services, analyzing internal requests and market opportunities to optimize procurement operations, in accordance with company standards and procedures.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Supervises, coordinates and supports the Indirect Procurement Team managing priorities, removing bottlenecks and addressing critical issues
Participates to the development, improvement and standardization of the purchase process
Monitors the team's performance and proposes the introduction of tools and solutions to improve performance
Receives and verifies requests for the purchase of goods, equipment or services, participating in developing specifications
Sources suppliers, evaluates and negotiates offers for the provision of goods or services, verifies client satisfaction, managing the relationship between internal customers and suppliers
Reports to the Procurement Director giving updates on project status, proposing new procedures or changes to existing ones, identifying analyzing and proposing improvement and cost saving projects
Manages escalated claims
Monitors decentralized orders and commissioned services, verifies anomalies and creates benchmarks to rationalize and optimize future commissions

Technical Skills:

Good knowledge of business economics
Good knowledge of the supply chain process
Good project management skills
Excellent knowledge of English
